Where Paul spoke in 2 Corinthians Chapter 8 on so-called “excelling in giving,” he actually said that the believers in Macedonia, “in great trial of affliction, but with abundance of joy... [gave what the Holy Spirit led them to give to fulfil the needs among believers...]  And not only did they first give themselves to the Lord and then to [the truth that the apostles taught them] according to the will of God, [they abounded in everything that could glorify Jesus — growing in mind renewal and Godliness] in faith, speech, knowledge, diligence, agape...” (Rom. 12:1-3.)  Paul continued in 2 Corinthians Chapter 9:5, “Therefore...  [Let] your gift [not forced tithing!] be a matter of generosity and not a grudging obligation.  [Yet, we should remember that] he who sows sparingly, [or gives grudgingly,] will also reap sparingly, [as all sin such as stinginess begets more sin.]  So, let each one give [without compulsion] as he purposes in his own heart...”

Paul was not applying Old Testament tithing or the so-called “seed-faith principle” of supposedly reaping “a hundredfold return” on your money, to this sermon.  He was saying that true believers must never be selfish and stingy, but give freely as the Holy Spirit leads them to glorify God and to build the body of Christ.  We should never give to be “rewarded” by God or men, for then we give with the wrong motive, which dishonors God.  We must give from the heart because everything we think we “have,” already belongs to Jesus.  Thus, we must honor Him with everything He had entrusted to us — not blindly and unwise, but responsibly and with discretion, because we cannot give to lazy bums, spongers, alcoholics, gamblers, drug addicts, etcetera to support their sin.  We must always give, as we do everything else, in the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Þ It is a great misconception that Old Covenant tithing and giving were changed into the seed-faith principle of prosperity preachers.  New Covenant believers already live in a spiritual condition or position of blessedness, simply because they are in Christ.  He “became a curse,” or the entire state of cursedness without God was “imputed” or “laid upon” Him at the cross, so that all true believers could freely inherit the entire blessed state or position of Abraham, (Gal. 3:10-14.)

Concerning the ‘first fruits,’ God commanded Old Israel in Deut. 26:2: “You will take some of the first of all the produce of your harvest… and say: I give thanks… to the Lord…” The giving of first fruits was a gesture of humble gratitude.  The first fruits of our lives represent the very best we have received from God; everything that is dear to us, and the very best we can offer to Him.  In Genesis 49:3 Jacob said, “Reuben, you are my firstborn… the first fruits of my manly strength…”

The first fruits always pertain to the Law of Love, as Jesus illustrated in Luke 14:12-14, “When you give a dinner, do not invite your friends, relatives or wealthy neighbors, lest they also invite you in return, and so you are paid back.  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the disabled, the lame, and the blind.  Then you will be blessed, [you will honor God,] as they have no way of repaying you...” Also see: BLESSING OR CURSE — THE CHOICE IS YOURS]

Seen in context, our first fruits do not pertain to a tenth of our money we give to a church, (Acts 4:32-35.)  Offering our deepest devotion and the best of our ourselves and our lives to God, which will manifest in our love or agape for our fellow man, are our first fruits.  If we sacrifice all that God had entrusted to us, we bring our first fruits to glorify His Name.  Dedicating our marriages, finances, time, gifts, and talents to His service, and rearing our children according to His holy decrees, are also our first fruits on God’s Altar of Mercy. And among all these offerings, our loving obedience to His Word and Spirit are the best “first fruits” or highest priorities we can sacrifice unto Jesus our Lord and God, (Rom. 12:1-3.)

Facebook, 18.2.2017, GOD'S SEED IS NOT MONEY IT IS HIS WORD!

"Seed-Faith" preachers like all their companions, are abusers and twisters of God's Word to enrich themselves. Every verse they have given to their church members to support their church dogmas, was taken out of context.  Jesus’ parable of the “Sower and the seed” is one of their most satanic accomplishments!  They so easily confused and blinded millions of believers to enrich themselves, it is like the proverbial illustration of “taking candy from a baby.”  All they had to do was to simply substitute the fact that the seed is the “Word” like Jesus said, with “Money!”  And because no one reads what Jesus actually said, they are hoodwinked and robbed of God’s truth and the vital teachings of Jesus that lead them to the Truth of His Word!

Here follows what is actually written, and what Jesus really taught.

Jesus, in explaining the parable of the Sower, said exactly the same thing in three of the four Gospels, (Lu. 8:11-21; Mt. 13:19-23, and in Mark 4:1-20,) "THE SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD. (Mark 4:14; Lu. 8:11; Mt. 13:19.)  When anyone hears the Word and does not understand it, the wicked one snatches away what was sown in his heart." [The devil is after the Seed or Word of God in our hearts and minds. He will do anything in his power to steal, twist, and abuse it and to make us turn away from God's Truth– exactly as these liars do.] "[If the Word is not understood,] this is the seed received by the wayside.”

Do not think you can glance at or even learn Bible verses on a mental level without seeking God’s face to understand the real, contextual meaning; you are bluffing yourself.  Hence, Paul wrote in 2 Tim. 2:15, "Be diligent to present yourself approved unto God, [not to earn anything, but to be a knowledgeable] worker who does not need to be ashamed [when God gives him the honor to lead a soul closer to Him,] rightly dividing the Word of Truth. But shun profane babbling, [false doctrine and superficial religion,] that increases to more ungodliness."

Jesus continued His sermon on the Seed or Word of God, saying, “...And he who receives the Seed in stony places is he who immediately receives it but he has no [true commitment and does not love the Truth but compromises it.]  So, he is only for a little while as in temptation he falls away. And some Seed fell among thorns [and germinated, but are soon] choked by cares, riches, and pleasures of life [exactly as the greedy people who believe the “seed-faith” teachers,] and they bring no fruit to maturity.  Or when tribulation or persecution arises because of the Word, they turn away. [As soon as their loved ones come against him when they are confronted with the Real Jesus, the Real Gospel, and the Real Holy Spirit, they fear they will lose them and bows o their dictates, (2 Cor. 11:4.)]  But the Seed that fell on good ground are those who, having heard the Word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience…  Some a hundred fold, some sixty, some thirty, [according to personal ability, as seen in the parable of the talents, Mt. 25:14-30.]”

Where do they find “money” in any of this?  It is clear that the “seed-faith” dogma is a deliberate, satanic deception.

(Mt. 13:3-23; Mark 4:20; Lu. 8:15-18.)

“Seed-faith” liars do not stop at substitution God’s  holy “Word” with “money!”  They abuse the way Jesus said the seed that fell into “good ground” or the noble hearts and minds of those who seek the truth, by promising their church members that the more they tithe and give to them, the more God will pay them back.  E.g., “If you sow sparingly, [talking about money,]” you will reap sparingly”  However, “sowing sparingly” is about being stingy opposed to giving liberally as the Holy Spirit leads, as you have purposed in your own heart, and with discretion, so that we do not support sin,  (Ps. 112:5; 1 Cor. 9:5, 7, 8.)

It does not mean, if you ‘sow’ 10% of my money in faith, God will repay you 100%!  Again, the truth of everything, Jesus’ Word especially, is in the context of the situation, verse, or passage.  As seen in Luke 8:11-21, Mark 4:1-20, & Matthew 13:19-23, where Jesus explained the parable of the Sower, He made it clear over and over again that the Seed is the Word of God

Prosperity preachers lie by saying the Seed is money!   And they lie some more by saying God will pay you back up to 100%!

The Seed or Word that fell by the wayside, in hard places, and among thorns were fruitless.  Only the Seed that fell into “good ground” yielded a crop that could glorify Jesus.  In Luke 8:15-18 Jesus explained that His Word, sown into sincere “hearts and minds,” will yield fruit to renew the minds of the hearers, (Rom. 12:1-3,) and give grace to also bless other hearers!  To the receivers’ God-given ability and resourcefulness, the Word yielded a crop hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty... (V. 11-12,) “For whoever has, will have abundance, [as explained in the parable of the five, two, and one talents according to the receivers’ ability and ingenuity, Mt. 25:15-29.] The one who received five talents made five more.  He who had two gained two more.  But the one who had only one buried it.  So, the talent of the one who made nothing of it was taken away and given to the one who had ten talents.] For whoever does not have, even what he has [by his own laziness, fears, passivity, and wrong choices,] will be taken away from him...”

Þ So, to ‘gain’ a hundredfold from God if we ‘tend and keep what He had entrusted to us,’ has nothing to do with giving our money to the church. It is all about personal responsibility and accountability before God; being faithful in everything He entrusted to us.

The so-called ‘seed faith, hundredfold return’ is not about getting filthy stinking rich by ‘sowing a money and getting up to a hundredfold return.’ We will not get a hundred houses if we give one to Jesus – it’s all about acquiring spiritual and soulical riches while proving ourselves trustworthy to God. We must focus on Eternity above all, not on this earth, which, according to the truth of God’s Word, will not be ‘saved’ through a so-called ‘river of anointing or otherwise. Our true riches must be in heaven, because in 2 Peter 3:10-14, it is written that this earth and everything on it is destined for the fire on That Day of the Lord’s return

This is just another false ‘seed-faith’ promise to make big money by giving to superrich pastors.  They constantly force-feed their members on lies with every sermons.  Which meeting do they not focus on something like, “A GOOD MEASURE, PRESSED DOWN, SHAKEN TOGETHER, AND RUNNING OVER WILL BE PUT INTO YOUR BOSOM. FOR WITH THE SAME MEASURE THAT YOU USE, IT WILL BE MEASURED BACK TO YOU?”  Does this mean, if you give all your money to the church now, you will receive a hundredfold return?  It is so easy to find the truth of any doctrine these unscrupulous teachers brainwash you with.  Be like the ‘noble Bereans.’  Search the Scriptures in the context of the New Testament Covenant and of the particular verse or passage, to see for yourself if they are telling you the truth!

To understand the ‘good measure pressed down,’ (Lu. 6:38,) let us see what Jesus actually said, beginning in Lu. 6:24, “Woe to you who are rich [in money] now, for you have received your [pay...] Woe to you when all men speak well of you, [ear-tickling ministers, pastors, prophets...] for so did their fathers do to the false prophets... For I say to you who hear [because they desire My truth,] love your enemies, [and you can never love your enemies more than to desire eternal life for them.]  Do good to those who hate you, [and you can never do better than to tell those who hate you the truth about everything in your quest to restore them to God.]  Bless those who curse you, [and the best way to “bless” revilers is to, if possible, give them the redeeming Word of Christ.] And pray for those who spitefully use you, [and the best prayer for abusers is for their redemption from bondage and darkness.]

“If you give, love, do good, lend, to those who give, love, do good, lend to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same to receive as much back. Therefore, [give your] love even [to] your enemies... and you will be children of the Most High, for He is kind to the ungrateful and evil. Therefore, be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful...  (Verse 37,) Do not judge and condemn [as in sending souls to hell for their evil, while testing their fruit to see of what character they are,] but forgive [if you cannot solve anything by speaking to them and thus doing good to them, let them go… (Mt. 18:15-20.)”

Þ “[Then, having done the precepts of the Moral Law as described from Lu. 4:24-37, Jesus says in verse 38,] Give, [truth, sincerity, care, charity,] and it will be given to you:  a good measure pressed down, shaken together…”

Þ This has nothing to do with ‘sowing’ money in the church!   It’s all about obedience to Jesus’ New Covenant Law, the Moral Law of love or agape, (Jn. 13:34.)

Concerning this great Money-Making deception of ‘New Testament tithing,’ which is raw witchcraft and abuse against God, His Holy Word, and the blood-cleansed body of Christ, the Word of the Living God clearly commands, “Come out of her, My people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.  For her sins reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities,” (Rev. 18:4-5.)

2 John verses 9-11 commands, “Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the [true teachings of Christ,] does not have God.  He who abides in the [truth] of Christ has both the Father and the Son.  If anyone comes to you and does not bring THIS [truth,] do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.”
